What is the secret to running a good swimming club?
It’s no secret – the main thing is that everyone enjoys themselves and have fun!
What do you offer people that have special needs or disabilities ?
Both the club and the Centre are committed and are able to support swimmers who have special needs. The centre is wheelchair friendly and provides special pool access for those with limited mobility. There are designated ‘handicapped’ parking spaces for those who have access issues. The centre is also accessible by buses to and from Campbelltown, Macarthur Railway Station and Campbelltown Railway Station.
Do you offer Learn to Swim or Squad classes ?
These are provided at the centre by council. Learn to swim lessons are provided for all age groups from babies through to adults. Squads then provide a training platform for those who wish to improve their fitness and for those who want to swim competitively at higher level. The squad coaches are also our club coaches.
We work closely with them and have been able to provide squads with gym equipment and underwater cameras to help them in the development of swimmers.
For more information on Learn to Swim and Squad programs please contact the swimming centre on 4525 0763.
